Sand Rugby!

On the weekend of June 9-10, 2007, Sand Rugby (touch) will be introduced at the 2007 North American Sand Soccer Championships at the Oceanfront. This will be the NASSC's 14th year, but the first for rugby!

The Sand Rugby event will be a two day tourament.

We will have Men's, Women's, College, High School, and Youth Divisions. All age groups are welcome and experience is not necessary.

We will be using a version of the Federation of International Touch Beach/Indoor Touch Playing Rules (PDF) (these are guidelines that will be modified as necessary, based on the size of the "field"). Further details and specific codifications will be posted on this site as they develop. We will have referees from the Referees Society of Virginia calling the games.
